Runway Run Video November 17, 2012
The annual Runway Run first celebrated the re-opening of the main runway at the Columbia Metropolitan Airport in 2010 after completing a seven-month reconstruction process. In its third year, there is still excitement among participants to tread on highly secured tarmac where more than 85,000 passengers take off and land each month.
This year, we expect more than 500 runners and walkers to participate in the event. In addition to outstanding participation, we have been pleased to make financial donations to the American Heart Association and the United Way.
2012 Runway Run event on Saturday, November 17, will include:
• 5k Run (3.1 miles)
